Exhale

As part of a five-piece portrait series, “Exhale” aimed to portray my perception of moving to Maryland through my relationship with the new environment. I have found happiness near the water as it acts as a place of tranquility and peace for me. Floating is a metaphor for letting go of the stress and sadness from moving, and the flowers represent my remaining connection to Colorado.
